OK, great question!I think I see what you're asking, and what I forgot to say in the video. For that type of cap, when you can take the key it out of it, the cap is in the locked position (there is nothing protruding from the cap that tells you it's in the locked position), Then when you insert the cap, turn it a little till you here the rattle noise, the cap is locked. It does not work like a deadbolt on a door...you do not see the slide lock moving in and out.

I have a newer car, and the locking cap on that car, you can actually see a piece of plastic moving in and out to lock the cap on when you move the key. I'm gonna do a video on that soon, it's been on my to do list for a few weeks, I was gonna try to do it today while it raining. I'll do another video on this older style cap to, to see if I can better explain it. There is really nothing it it, once you get the hang of it. Buy one at the auto parts store, and get the salesperson to show you how it works. Practice with it at the store for a few minutes till you get it. If you can drive a car, this cap thing is a piece of cake.

Hi Joann! Clockwise. On mine in the video the key won't come out till it is put in the locking position. That's the way my new one works too. They are not difficult to use, just fiddle with it for a while. Jim

Works great! Sometimes they'll eat it off a plate, but I usually put about a quarter inch on my finger and stick it in the side of their mouth...presuming they are tame cats. Especially the past few years, l-lysine is seen as a powerhouse, even in the human world. I have a bottle on my counter right now for me too.

SEE THE COMMENT BELOW: I'm no ginger expert, but...Yep, it is probably mold. I just read online that ginger turns green inside when it gets old, it's moldy. I keep mine in the refrigerator, it last about a month or less before going bad, turns brown inside like an old apple. For a couple dollars worth of ginger, I'd toss it in the garbage. But...I also read there are varieties of ginger that have a greenish tint. I've never seen a green ginger at my local stores in the USA, it is usually bright gold inside. I just bought some a few days ago, I break it apart in the store to see what it looks like inside before I buy it. Last year, I bought some, when I got it home it was black inside.

Either way should work. I don't think you can short it out by trying it. If you need a cable, most cables go both way, but some newer cables I have heard are one way only-- pc to monitor. Your question is not clear. You can get cables where both ends are dp's. You can also get cables where one end is hdmi and the other is dp. Look up the manuals for your specific pc and monitor, they might be on the web on the company's web site. Also, after you get it plugged in, if it won't show a screen on the monitor, it might be Windows...I had heard Windows does not like dp's...but I hope Microsoft got that fixed by now. Feel free to write back for more help, and to let us know how you got it working.

Hi Cos! You are correct! When you get to be my age, you have plenty of old cloths you're willing to have to trash. Old shoes too, I save old shoes just for taring and cementing...and painting, LOL! Thanks for reminding me, I need to check that roof soon. My mother bought the ladder 30/40 years ago. We probably have close to 10 ladders here, my mother gave one to my niece, and most are just small ones, 2 or 4 rungs, but the come in handle. I need a 10/15 footer to paint the sides of the house. My father was a construction worker, he bought a 40 footer from Sears back in the 60's or so, but half of it 20 foot, is just a bit big to paint the sides lower portion.

You can buy a DisplayPort to HDMI cable. Just make sure that you buy a cable that supports the resolution of your TV. Most cables usually support up to 1080p. But if your TV supports higher than 1080P and you want that higher resolution, the cable will need to support it as well. All this info should be listed in the product specifications.
